Shinkendo Seminar 1999

New York Budokai was pleased to host Mr. Toshishiro Obata, Founder and Headmaster of the International Shinkendo Federation on May 21,22, and 23, 1999. The curriculum consisted of Shinkendo basics, tantojutsu (knife techniques), and empty hand techniques. The seminar was well-attended by members of New York Budokai, as well as members of affiliated Shinkendo dojo and New York area martial artists. We hope to be able to host Mr. Obata again in the future.
